Fact: These are Glass Beads, not crystal. Whats the difference? Crystals have lead content that give them a shimmer and sparkle. The Czech do make Crystals that have a minimum of 24% lead, and more well known Swarovski has a minimum of 32% lead. The Czech Fire Polish their beads to give them extra gloss and shine. These have no lead content, and are a beautiful, less expensive alternative.
